Dear Reader,

There is simply no possible way to describe precisely how utterly exhausted I am. I cannot count how many nights up till now this year I have gone with minimal sleep. I ask myself constantly, "Really, does it never end?" Reader, the fact that I have considered it a legitimate question is extremely foolish. The answer is obvious: "No, it never ends." My Friends, in our work-obsessed society today, we have forgotten what it is to truly live. In our lives, there no longer exists times reserved for ourselves- for rest, for reflection, for relaxation. Some of us give our work higher priority than even our most fundamental relationships. We have forgotten that it is these things which make up our lives! Consider this: Which course of action would be the most advantageous to the entirety of your being for the longest amount of time: A stamp on a set of math problems, or an encouraging, rich, and unforgettable conversation with a beloved sister? Friends, this is what we call the "Cost-Benefit Analysis".

So this month, go trick-or-treating! Go out with your friends and have fun.  Stay up all night and eat the candy you've collected while playing games with your friends! Have a sleepover, make a tent out of blankets, and read scary stories when the clock strikesmidnight.
