On September 27th, the school had their first dance.This dance was a very exciting and interesting way to start off the new school year. The dance took place in the student union at 7:30. There was a Dj station set up on the stage, but no Dj present. The student government had also set up lights, balloons, and posters. Throughout the dance, one could hear the sound of teenagers popping the balloons. One person brought in a whistle that could be heard throughout the dance being blown to the beat. When I first walked in, the room was full of good energy. Most of the people there were Sophomores and Freshman. As the music started, people did innocent dance moves as the chaperones sat by to watch over and protect the students. The dance escalated quickly, in about 30 minutes, the room was packed and people were all enjoying the music.  As the night went on, people got more excited and hyped. Overall, the dance was a fun way to start off the school year. I’m sure the whole school is anxious for the next one to start.
